The filter comes complete with venture aeration nozzle attachments included that can be used separately with outlet having the feature of adding further aeration to your fish tank. Maintenance of this unit is as simple as removing the bottom filter compartment and cleaning the included filter foam. With the bottom compartment removed you will also have easy access to the impeller for cleaning / maintenance purposes.
